Don't skip the "A" section
The United States media have done a poor job of covering international news in recent years. Britney Spears apparently doesn't go overseas very often. But I want to direct your attention to the story in the Middle East. It's getting uglier by the day, real people are dying really horrible deaths, and for those of you who ask, "What does it mean to me?", it can't mean good things for our national security. So, no matter what your political bent or your stand on the Israel-Palestine feud, take an extra minute to read those stories today or to visit your favorite news Web site. (Or mine, if you don't have a favorite.) Maybe take another minute and grieve for those people. They are just people, after all, underneath all the rhetoric and the rubble.

They're just people.
