Gave much better advice to Favorite Co-Worker in Texas today. Oddly, it was 180 degrees from my previous advice. I'm sure that helped her even more.

Got a Christmas card from the Ex-Boss. It read in part, "I guess we're missing you a lot more than you're missing us." Nothing personal, but, probably, yeah. Although I sure could go for a burrito or some fajitas from Y.O. Ranch.

At what point does one have to open the drain on the pool during a heavy rainstorm? I wonder if we're getting to that point. We're so unqualified to own a house with a pool.
