Perhaps Delta should try this

Next time the pilot comes on and says, "Hello again from the cockpit; uhhhhh, we seem to, ummm, have a bit of a, um, mechanical problem and, ummmm, Maintenance tells us they're waiting for a part and, uh, it'll probably be about an, ummmmmm, hour or so," tell them to try this. It seems to work in Nepal.
