If the Dow was dropping as much as the value of human life appears to be dropping over the last few years (see: 9-11, Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, Bailey, Colo., Nickel Mines, Pa., etc.), we'd be in sheer utter panic.
But since it's a bunch of soldiers, a couple hundred thousand Africans and a few children we don't know, well, it's just another news story.
