It really could be worse
A long day ended on kind of a crappy note. But there's plenty with which I can console myself. Thankfully ...
I don't work at Kmart. Pretty soon, a lot of other people won't be working for Kmart, either. I've never had a big preference for one discount store over any other; I go wherever's closest. I got a lot of my clothes from Kmart when I was a kid; I got plenty from Wal-Mart, too. I was equally made fun of for either. But apparently Wal-Mart is doing cheap better than Kmart. It's the American way; may the stronger company live.
I wasn't the TV reporter who had to interview the convicted sex offender tonight. Said offender was accused and acquitted of a subsequent offense. Actual question: "Sir, did you show them your personal parts?"
The wife is feeling better, and nobody else is showing any sign of catching whatever she had.
I didn't drink that second cup of coffee tonight. I'm actually tired enough to sleep tonight. Here's to sleeping.
